Banana Chocolate Bites

These banana chocolate bites are the perfect healthy and delicious treat. You only need 4 ingredients: dark chocolate, peanut butter, coconut oil and bananas. These bites that are full of energy and are suitable for any time of the day, such as in between of breakfast and lunch or in the afternoon.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 bananas
  • 1 cup of dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Peanut butter
  • Coconut sprinkles (optional)

Preparation

Peel off the bananas and slice them. Spread the peanut butter on a banana slice and top with another. Place the dark chocolate and the coconut oil in a small bowl and melt them in a bain marie or placing the bowl in the microwave. Take the banana sandwiches and dip them into the melted chocolate. If you desire you can add some coconut sprinkles on the top. Continue until all the bites have been dipped and place them in the refrigerator for minimum one hour.
